Welcome to robcolvin.net. Ever since one of my university profressors introduced me to design diaries I have obsessively documented everything. Every time I think I should relax and not worry so much, I soon need my notes, generally to get me out of trouble! Maybe it's a lazy dog to do something I've forgotten, or it's a log of what I've tried (and failed, and learned) or maybe it's much more important like a shell-session-log to work out why an upgrade or other task went wrong (all of the above are actual cases).

This site is the edited highlights of my notes and projects, mostly for my own use ... but you never know!

robcolvin.net is built on Docusaurus which is an amazing tool for documentation such as this. The notes themselves are written in Markdown and stored in GitHub which gives me the ability to version control my notes and track a project's history chronologicaly.
